x+6y=6
x=5-6y
It is my understanding that there is no solution for this problem because if x=5-6y and you plug that into the first equation you have 5-6y+6y=6, then y becomes eliminated and it leaves you 5=6 which is not an answer. Am I right, or am I doing this wrong? The solution box is asking for an ordered pair, but I don't see how you can get one.

You are correct. Since plugging in x=5-6y results in a contradiction, there are no solutions. So choose the option "There are no solutions"
