Here multiply everything by 15 to clear all the fractions...so from
(x-2)/5 + (x-7)/3 = -1 we get
3(x-2) + 5(x-7) = -15
3x - 6 + 5x - 35 = -15
8x - 41 = -15
8x = 26
x = 13/4
