You can put this solution on YOUR website!
"The angles of a triangle are 3x, (2x+20), and (5x-40).Find the angles. Show that the triangle is an equilateral triangle."

Angles of a triangle add up to 180.

3x + 2x + 20 + 5x - 40 = 180 {sum of angles equals 180}
10x - 20 = 180 {combine like terms}
10x = 200 {added 20 to both sides}
x = 20 {divided both sides by 10}

Substitute 20, in for x, into sides
3x = 60
2x + 20 = 60
5x - 40 = 60

It is an equilateral triangle because all of the angles are equal}
