Question 421800: The sum of the angles of a triangle is 180 degrees. If one angle of a triangle is ten degrees larger than the smallest angle and the third angle is 10 degrees more than twice the smallest angle, find the measures of the three angles? Please I need this in detail, step by step. :)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The sum of the angles of a triangle is 180 degrees. If one angle of a triangle is ten degrees larger than the smallest angle and the third angle is 10 degrees more than twice the smallest angle, find the measures of the three angles?
-----
Equations:
a + b + c = 180
b = a+10
c = 2a+10
----
Subtitute for "b" and for "c" and solve for "a":
a + (a+10) + (2a+10) = 180
4a = 160
a = 40
----
b = a+10 = 50
c = 2a+10 = 90
