You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Gideon's army marched the first 48 miles in 4 hours.
He then increased their speed by 8 mph.
new speed =4+8=12 mph
IF THE TOTAL MARCH WAS 108 MILES,
ADDITIONAL DISTANCE AT 12 MPH...IS.....108-48=60
TIME NEEDED =60/12=5 HRS.
HOW MUCH TIME WAS NEEDED FOR THE ENTIRE MARCH? ( SHOW YOUR WORK )
TOTAL TIME NEEDED = 4+5=9 HRS
