Question 420865: From the circle, x^2-6x+y^2+8y=0, how can I find the x and y intercepts? Is there an equation or a way to work this out?
I think that the x intercepts are (0,0) and (6,0) and the y intercepts are (0,0) and (0,8)... but of course, I found that out after graphing it on a thing online.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The x-intercepts occur when y = 0, so set y = 0 and solve for x. Also, the y-intercepts occur when x = 0, so replace x = 0 and solve for y.
