Depends on how many questions there are. There could be one hundred 3-point questions, fifty 6-point questions, 27 6-point questions and 46 3-point questions, etc.

Let a = number of 3 point questions
Let b = number of 6 point questions
given:
3a+%2B+6b+=+300
+a+%2B+2b+=+100+
There are 2 unknowns and only 1 equation,
so I have to guess.
I'll guess a+=+50 and b+=+25
That works, so I'll check it:
3%2A50+%2B+6%2A25+=+300
+150++%2B+150+=+300+
OK
There are 50 3 point questions
and 25 6 point questions
