You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
3(x+6)^2-10(x+6)=8
3(x^2+12x+36)-10x-60=8
3x^2+36x+108-10x-60-8=0
3x^2+26x+40=0
3*40=120; two factors of 120 whos sum is 26 are 6 and 20.
3x^2+6x+20x+40=0
3x(x+2)+20(x+2)=0
(3x+20)(x+2)=0
x=-2, x=-20/3
