There is no "x" in the function. If the "x" was mistakenly left out, then re-post your question.
If the function is what you posted then...
It is not an exponential function. Exponential functions have variables in an exponent.
We can simplify the right side of this equation. The simplified equation will be easier to graph.
Simplifying:
y = 6(8) - 5
y = 48 - 5
y = 43
The graph of this will be a horizontal line passing through any point that has a y coordinate of 43.
