Help would be greatly appreciated, thank - you very much. Question : Two boys on bicycles start toward each other at the same time from two towns 70 km apart. The first travels at 12 km/h. Wat is the speed of the other boy if they meet in 2.5 hours? Can you please show the work as too how you got the answer. Thank - you so much!

When the two boys meet, they have traveled a total of 70 km
Write dist equation: dist = speed * time
:
1st boys dist + 2nd boys dist = 70 km
2.5(12) + 2.5s = 70
30 + 2.5s = 70
2.5s = 70 - 30
2.5s = 40
s =
s = 16 km/hr is the other boy's speed
