You can put this solution on YOUR website!
How many ounces of 12.5% Sodium Hypochlorite
to make 5% sodium Hypochlorite in 2.5 gallons of H20?
----
Equation:
sodium + sodium = sodium
0.125x = 0.05(2.5 + x)
---
Multiply thru by 1000 to get:
125x = 50*2.5 + 50x
75x = 50*2.5
x = (2/3)(2.5)
x = 1 2/3 gallons of 12.5% Sod Hypo
-----
I guess that would be 0.125*(5/3) = 0.20833 ounces of Sod Hypo
--
Not sure.
