Question 418521: would like some help with this question.
two in-line skates, neil and kristin, start from the same point and skate in the same direction. neil skates at 12miles per hour and kristin skates at 14 miles per hours. if they can keep up that pace for 2.5 hours how far apart will they be at the end of that time?.
thanks

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
every hour Kristen travels 2 miles ahead ofNeil.
in 2 1/2 hours he will be 2 1/2 * 2 = 5 miles farther than Neil
