In order to add fractions, the denominators must all be the same. So let's get all the denominators equal to the LCD 21.
2/7+4/21+1/3 = (2/7)*(3/3)+4/21+(1/3)*(7/7) = 6/21+4/21+7/21 = (6+4+7)/21 = 17/21
So 2/7+4/21+1/3 = 17/21
