Question 417462: Hello,
My name is Alex and I am doing a project with my friend on the geometry of ping pong. What are some of the angles used to play? Is there any information that you could contribute to our cause?
Thank you,
Alex

You can put this solution on YOUR website! What kind of angles? If you are talking about complementary/supplementary angles, you won't be able to go far, since a ping pong table is not much more than a rectangular table.
You could turn this into a physics problem involving the angular velocity of the ball. How much torque does the paddle apply on the ball during contact, causing the ball to spin? Maybe you can analyze different types of spin (e.g. overspin, sidespin, topspin, etc.) and their respective angular velocities/directions. These are quite useful when playing ping pong.
