Parallel lines have the same slope, so the slope of such a line is -4. The y-intercept doesn't matter, so we can write the equation in the form y = -4x + C, where C is any constant.

The "C" can be any number except 7
If the "C" was 7 then you would have the same line, not a parallel line.
