| Question 416044: Hello!
I am having trouble with my algebra homework. On one of the equasions we need to figure out, we need to find the square root of both the numbers 2 and 72. It cannot be in decimal form, and must be in a fraction. Please help me figure it out, and explain how you got the answer so I will be able to do this on the test on Thursday. Thanks so much for your help!

You can put this solution on YOUR website! On one of the equations we need to figure out, we need to find the square root of both the numbers 2 and 72. It cannot be in decimal form, and must be in a fraction. ----
 sqrt(2) = 2/sqrt(2)
 sqrt(72) = sqrt(36*2) = sqrt(36)*sqrt(2) = 6*sqrt(2)
