Question 415732: Hey guys I have a problem I keep getting wrong.
Use this number line:
<---Q---P---R---S--|--|--|---T->
Sorry it looks weird, But the letters are suppose to be boxes with the letter under it.
If the coordinates of R and T are opposites, Which of all the points (Q,P,R,S, or T ) has the coordinate with the greatest absolute value? Explain how you found your answer.
Thanks.

Hi,
using the example below: Q =-8, P = -6, R = -4 S = 0, T = 4
coordinates of R and T are opposites
I this example -8 has the greatest absolute value |-8| = 8
Of the points: (Q,P,R,S, or T ), Q has the coordinate with the greatest absolute value
