rate = 5 mph ; time = x hrs ; distance = 5x miles

Jog DATA:
rate = 9 mph ; time = 1-x hrs ; distance = 9(1-x) miles

Equation:
distance + distance = 6 miles
5x + 9(1-x) = 6
5x + 9-9x = 6
-4x = -3
x = 3/4 hr.

Walk distance: 5x = 5(3/4) = 15/4 = 3 3/4 miles
