You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I need to solve for x

5(x - 3/4)

I have no clue how to do this.

I'm sorry, but neither do we.

First of all, 5(x - 3/4) is not an equation, but an expression.

you cannot "solve" an expression. You can only simplify, expand,
or factor an expression. We SOLVE either equations or inequalities.

The only thing you can do with

5(x - 3/4)

is to distribute the 5 into the parentheses:

5x - 15/4

If that's not what you want, then please repost giving the exact
instructions, and carefully retype the expression or equation.
Please repost.
