You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If 7 workers can do the task in 12 days, then 1 worker should be able to complete the task in 7 times 12 days. Then 6 workers should be able to complete the task in (7 times 12) divided by 6 days.

My calculator said it, I believe it, that settles it

Since 7 workers can complete the task in 12 days, it would take
one worker 7 times that long, and 7x12 = 84, so it would take one
worker 84 days. It will take 6 workers only 1/6 as long as it would
take one worker, and 1/6 of 84 is 14. So it will take 6 workers
14 days to complete the task.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Ho long will it take 6 workers to complete a task, give that 7 workers can complete the same task in 12 days
-------
# of workers and time to complete the task are indirectly related.
t = k/# of men
---
Solve for "k" using "7 workers can complete the task in 12 days":
12 = k/7
k = 84
----
Equation:
t = 84/# of men
----
Solve "How long will it take 6 workers to complete the task?"
t = 84/6
time = 14 days
