You can put this solution on YOUR website!
At noon a private plane left Austin for Los Angeles, 2100 km away, flying at 500km/hr. One hour later a jet left Los Angeles for Austin at 700km/hr. At what time will they meet?
------------------------------
In 1 hour, the 1st plane is 500 km away (500 km/hr * 1 hr)
The 2nd plane gains on the 1st at 200 km/hr (700 - 500)
500/200 = 2.5 hours
1300 + 2.5 hours = 1530 (3:30 PM, if you're not an aviator)
---------------
PS Planes use knots, not km/hr
