Hi
If I am understanding Your question properly
Log 3 x = .2486

3^.2486 = x
find square root of x
sqrt(3^.2486) = 1.1463

log3x = .24863

You need the rule for changing a log equation to an
exponential equation and vice-versa:

That rule is this:

The logarithm equation:

logBA = C

is equivalent to the exponential equation:

A = BC

So your logarithm equation

log3x = .24863 is equivalent to

x = 3.24863

And you can do that with a calculator and get

x = 1.314094681

Then take the square root of that and get
 _
Öx = 1.146339688
