4y/3= 18-y/6 Answer by zeynep(43) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 4y/3= 18-y/6
to get rid of these fractions, multiply both sides by the LCD of 6;
6.(4y/3)= 6.(18-y/6 )
8y=108-y Add additive inverse of -y to both sides;
8y+y=108-y+y
9y=108 Divide both sides by 9;
y=12
