Question 410865: I was not sure if I did the process right, so would you check to se if I have written the answers correctly as a fracton? Quadratic equations solved by
-b sqrt (b^24-ac)/(2(a))
4a(2a+1)=-25
+25 +25
4a(2a+1)+25=0
8a^2+4a+25=0
-4 +- sqrt(4)^2-4(8)(25)/(2(8))
-4 +- sqrt (16-800)/(16)
-4 +- sqrt (-784)/(16)
-4 +- (-28)/(16)
x= (6)/(7) and x = (-8)/(7)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Correct, except you put down sqrt%28-784%29+=+-28. However, sqrt%28-784%29+=+28i and it is written as

a+=+%28-4+%2B-+28i%29%2F16+=+%28-1+%2B-+7i%29%2F4 (Note you also changed your variable from a to x).
