First, write the equation in slope-intercept form by isolating y:

7x+%2B+6y+-+30+=+0 --> 6y+=+-7x+%2B+30

Dividing both sides by 6,

y+=+%28-7%2F6%29x+%2B+5

Hence, the slope is -7/6 and the y-intercept is 5.
