You can put this solution on YOUR website!
how to solve:
[x-3]-4=1

|x - 3| - 4 = 1
|x - 3| = 5
x - 3 = 5 or -x + 3 = 5 (notice where the negative or minus signs are)
x = 8 or -x = 2
x = 8 or x = -2
