We start be rewriting this in exponential form. In general log%28a%2C+%28p%29%29+=+q is equivalent to p+=+a%5Eq. Using this pattern on your expression we get:
3x%2B5+=+e%5E5
Now we solve for x. Subtracting 5 from each side:
3x+=+e%5E5+-+5
Dividing by 3 we get:
