SOLUTION: find the slope passing through each pair of lines (3,7) (6,16) I know the formula is supposed to be Y1-Y2 divided by X1-X2 3-6=-3 and 7-16=-9 am guessing it should be 1/3?

Using the point-slope formula,
(3,7)
(6,16) m = -9/-3 = 3
Might recommend listing points as above..allows for 'keeping track'
of the y's and the x's and easy subtraction.
