You can put this solution on YOUR website!
What is the center and radius of the circle with the given equation x^2+(y+2)^2=9
Sol'n:
C(h,k)
(x-h)^2 + (y-k)^2 = r^2
So, h = 0 & k = -2
C(0, -2)
And
r^2 = 9
taking square root on both side.
r = 3 units ---answer
