90x%2B10x%2F5=552 Multiply EVERY term by 10 to convert 55.2 into a whole number (ie move the decimal one spot to the right)


90x%2B2x=552 Reduce


92x=552 Combine like terms on the left side.


x=%28552%29%2F%2892%29 Divide both sides by 92 to isolate x.


x=6 Reduce.
