Hi
solving by elimination:
X + 3Y= 6
2X + 4Y= 7
-2X -6Y= -12
2X +4Y = 7 |Adding the equations after multiplying 1st by -2
-2Y = -5
Y = 5/2
X = 6-3Y = 12/2-15/2
X = -3/2
CHECKING our Answer***
2X + 4Y= 7
-3 + 10 = 7
