You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A perimeter of rectangle is P=2%28W%2BL%29
If the width is xft, then if the length is 2 ft more than twice the width%282x%29, so the length is %282x%2B2%29ft
Perimeter of this rectangle is P=2%2A%28x%2B%282x%2B2%29%29=2%2A%283x%2B2%29=6x%2B4
Equation
6x%2B4=88
6x=88-4
6x=84
x=84%2F6
x=14
The width is 14 ft, then the length is %282%2A14%2B2%29=30ft
Answer: 14 ft and 30 ft
