You can put this solution on YOUR website! Prove whatever you're asked to prove...there are very many ways to do this, ranging from simple postulates in geometry (such as SSS, SAS) to very unusual methods such as introducing complex numbers in a combinatorics question (I've actually seen a question which involved such a solution...)
