: 6. Solve the system of equations using the addition (elimination) method.
If the answer is a unique solution, present it as an ordered pair: (x, y). If not, specify whether the answer is “no solution” or “infinitely many solutions.”
4x – 3y = 1
-12x + 9y = 5

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1) 4x – 3y = 1
2) -12x + 9y = 5
Multiply 1st by 3 to get:
3) 12x-9y=3
Add this to 2nd to get:
0x+0y=8
0=8
This is a contradition.
The lines are geometrically parallel.
There is no solution for the system of equations.
