In how many ways can 9 instructors be assigned to six sections of a course in mathematics?
---------------
Mr Kmr is correct. I tried it with
3 instructors and 2 sections and
the number was 6 = 3P2 = 3!/(3-2)!
-----------------------------------------
Let the sections pick the instructors:
Ans: 9P6 = 9!/(9-6)! = 9!/3! = 9*8*7*6*5*4 = 60480

Here there are 6 sections of mathematics, each section is different to other ...
