1. {1 2 -1 | 6}
{0 -2 2 | 6}
{0 2 -4 |-4}
I said R1+R2.
2. {1 1 -1| 6}
{0 -2 2| 6}
(0 2 -4|-4}
I said R1 (-1/2)R2
Please help me to understand the next step to be completed in the Gauss-Jordan elimination method.
