Question 404241: what is the median of 13, 24, 27, 28, 67, 89
Answer by Algebra2you(12) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! To find the median, the first step is to put the numbers in order. Luckily, they are in order.
13, 24, 27, 28, 67, 89
The median is the middle number. Since we have an even number of data, we have 2 middle numbers-the 3rd and 4th.
So to find the median add these two up and divide by 2. In other words find their average.
(27+28)/2
55/2
22.5
