Question 403998: If two ratios are formed at random from the four numbers 1,2,4, & 8, what is the probability that the ratios are equal?
(I have already made all of them into fractions... but some are the same! What is an easy way to do this?)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If two ratios are formed at random from the four numbers 1,2,4, & 8, what is the probability that the ratios are equal?
(I have already made all of them into fractions... but some are the same! What is an easy way to do this?)
----
That's good.
Count the number of fractions you have.
Count the number of fractions that are equal.
---
Divide the equal number by the total number to get the probability.
