The mean is the average of a group of numbers. If the mean is $360 and there are five salaries involved, the total can be found by
Average = Total / number
Total = (Average)(Number)
Total = $360 * 5 = $1800
Since four of the salaries are spoken for, we add them, and subtract their total from $1800...that will give us our answer...
