y=x/2+1/4
Set y=0, & solve for x.
0=x/2+1/4
x/2=-1/4 cross multiply.
4x=-1/2
x=-1/2(1/4)
x=-1/2*4/1
x=-4/2=-2 ans.
The 2 intercepte are (-2,0) (0,1/4)
