"40 percent of "Y" is 15" means that 0.4y+=+15. Simply divide both sides by 0.4 to get y=15%2F0.4=37.5. So y=37.5


This then means that 20% of 2y is 0.2%282y%29=0.4y=0.4%2837.5%29=15
