Question 401117: I am having a hard time getting the correct plots for this equation. I have to graph the following function: y=3x^2-6x-5. This what I have so far:
y= -3x^2-6x-5
y= -3(0)^2+6x+5
y=0+0+5
y=5
(0,5)
y= -3x^2-6x-5
y= -3(1)^2-6(1)-5
y= -3+6+5
y=8
(1,8)
What am I doing wrong?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
These lines are from your work:
y= -3x^2-6x-5
y= -3(1)^2-6(1)-5
y= -3+6+5 <-------------the 6 should be -6....not +6
