1*(2/3x^2-1/2x-2/3)+ 1*(1/2x^2+1/4x-1/2)

  2/3x^2-1/2x-2/3 + 1/2x^2+1/4x-1/2

  (2/3x^2+ 1/2x^2)+( -1/2x+ 1/4x)+ ( -2/3-1/2)

     7/6x^2  - 1/4x - 7/6
