You can put this solution on YOUR website!
In the expression A%2FB, A is the numerator and B is the denominator. When adding fractions, you must change their form so the denominators are the same value. In all 4 of these questions that is the case. When adding fractions, A%2FD%2BB%2FD%2BC%2FD=%28A%2BB%2BC%29%2FD. So,

1. 9%2F10%2B2%2F10%2B5%2F10=%289%2B2%2B5%29%2F10=16%2F10 Which then reduces to 8%2F5.

2. 3%2F8%2B2%2F8%2B4%2F8=%283%2B2%2B4%29%2F8=9%2F8 and 9%2F8 is completely reduced.

3. 5%2F6%2B1%2F6%2B2%2F6=%285%2B1%2B2%29%2F6=8%2F6. This reduces to 4%2F3.

4. 'The sum of' means to add everything. So 4%2F9%2B7%2F9%2B2%2F9=%284%2B7%2B2%29%2F9=13%2F9.
