Write an equation for each statement (work it in terms of A):
:
"A, B and C picked a total of 230 liters of cranberries."
A + B + C = 230
:
" A picked 10 liters more than B,"
A = B + 10
B = A - 10
:
"and C picked twice as much as A."
C = 2A

In the 1st equation, replace B with (A-10), replace C with 2A
A + (A-10) + 2A = 230
4A = 230 + 10
A =
A = 60 liters

B = 60 - 10
B = 50 liters

C = 2(60)
C = 120 liters
