You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Hi
second car leaves 1 hour later
Let x and (x-1hr)represent the times traveled by the first and second car respectively
Question states*** (Note: Distance traveled will be the same. D = r*t
60mph(x) = 70mph(x-1)
solving for x
70mph = 10mph(x)
x = 7hr, time traveled by first car.
It will take the second car 6 hrs to catch it
CHECKING our Answer***
60mph*7hr = 70mph*6hr

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The 1st car is 60 miles away (60 mph * 1 hr)
The 2nd car gains on it at 10 mph (70 - 60)
60/10 = 6 hours
