The perimeter of a triangle is 96 inches, the shortest side is 6 inches less than it's middle side, and it's longest side measures 18 inches more than it's middle side. What are the lengths of all 3 sides. I don't have a clue how to begin.

The perimeter of a triangle is 96 inches, the shortest side is 6 inches less than it's middle side, and it's longest side measures 18 inches more than it's middle side. What are the lengths of all 3 sides.
.
Let x= middle
then
x-6 = shortest side
x+18 = longest side
.
x + x-6 + x+18 = 96
3x+12 = 96
3x = 84
x = 28 inches (middle side)
.
shortest side:
x-6 = 28-6 = 22 inches
.
longest side:
x+18 = 28+18 = 46 inches
