78/3 = 26, the middle integer

If you want to do it the hard way:
n-1 + n + n+1 = 78
3n = 78
n = 26 (middle integer)
---------
Even harder:
n + n+1 + n+2 = 78
3n + 3 = 78
n = 25 (1st integer)
