This means to make the quadratic into a perfect square trinomial, the form a%5E2+%2B+2ab+%2B+b%5E2++=+%28a+%2B+b%29%5E2.

%283w-2T%29%5E2+=%283w%29%5E2+-+2%2A3w%2A2T+%2B%282T%29%5E2+=+9w%5E2+-12wT+%2B+4T%5E2

hey,
so since it's asking for (3w-2t)^2, it's asking you to square it.
so....
(3w-2t)(3w-2t)
and then you use FOIL (first, outer, inner, last)
so....
3w*3w-3w*2t-2t*3w-2t*(-2t)
and simplifly..
3w^2-12wt+4t^2
