Question 39811: square root(2i)-3*square root(3i)+4*square root(2i)+6*square root(3i)
what is the answer to this equation?
Answer by fractalier(6550) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Well if I interpret your question properly, merely combine like roots and get
square root(2i)-3*square root(3i)+4*square root(2i)+6*square root(3i) =
5*sqrt(2i) + 3*sqrt(3i)
Do you know how to evaluate the square root of i?
That it equals sqrt(2)/2 + sqrt(2)/2(i)?
If so, substitute that in and go from there...
